What Hot Mess is
Hot Mess is a tracking aid for menopause symptoms, food, movement and calm. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Nothing in the app replaces advice from a doctor, nurse, dietitian or physiotherapist who knows you.
Using the app safely
Meal plans, recipes, exercise routines and meditations are general guidance for healthy adults. Check with a professional before changing your diet or exercise if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
Stop any exercise that causes pain. The figures in the app show the general shape of a position, not a substitute for instruction.
If you are worried about a symptom, or something feels wrong, speak to a healthcare professional. If it is an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Subscription and free trial
Hot Mess is a paid app sold as a subscription through Google Play, with a free trial of 14 days for new subscribers. Google Play asks for a payment method when the trial starts. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose (monthly, 3 months, 6 months or yearly) is charged automatically and renews at the end of each period until you cancel.
Prices are shown in the app and on Google Play before you buy. Founding subscribers keep the price they joined at for as long as their subscription stays active.
Hot Mess Plus add-ons (nutrition plan, movement plan, extended meditation) are optional extra subscriptions, sold singly or together. They renew in the same way.
Google Play handles payment, renewal and cancellation. You can cancel any time from your Google Play subscriptions and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
Your data
Your entries belong to you and stay on your phone. See the privacy policy for what leaves the device and when.
Accuracy
Nutrition figures come from a built-in list and from Open Food Facts, a public database maintained by volunteers. They are estimates. Patterns and correlations shown in the app describe your own logged data; they are not diagnoses.
Liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for loss or harm arising from use of the app or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the app changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
